Pilar is a guardian and educator of how to embody and integrate expanded states of consciousness. As a mentor for therapists and sacred space holders, she combines her diverse background in art, depth psychology, somatic experiencing, daoism, indigenous plant medicine technology, and feminine tantric principles to guide others.

Her journey began with a BA in Fine Art from USC, where she discovered conscious meditation through her work in the darkroom. This led her to study Trauma-Informed Yoga and earn her 200-RYT certification, teaching to neurodivergent children and adults in Venice, CA. Pilar's burning desire for understanding our psychic and somatic connection deepened as she trained in Somatic Experiencing© and earned her MA in Depth Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in 2019.

Her studies incorporate Jungian, Existential, and Imaginal/Archetypal perspectives, which gave her a language to truly integrate her experiences of expanded states of consciousness from deep states of meditation and transformational experiences with psychedelics. This all inspired Pilar’s thesis, "Bones of the Therapist’s Chair: An Exploration of Witchcraft and Psychotherapy," examining the modern psychotherapist through the lens of ancient practices of witchcraft.

The next initiation of her journey led her to a life-long destiny of traveling to the jungles of Colombia and Costa Rica where she would meet and study with the teachers and elders of the Yage Inga Tribes of Putumayo Regions of southern Colombia. Pilar opened her books for psychedelic integration clients and never looked back. Since then she has coached, witnessed, and taught hundreds of people how to integrate their numinous experiences, plant, and fungi medicine experiences. 

Currently, Pilar serves as an apprentice and forever student to the indigenous wisdom keepers and is a lead integration therapist for international plant medicine retreat centers. Her practice in the U.S. is largely focused on delivering the highest quality educational resources and mentorship programs for therapists and healers wanting to decolonize their practice and embody their magic with confidence in the world. A Gemini sun, and double Libra, Pilar can be found either with her beloved animals in California, swimming or soaking in any body of water, deep in her yoga practice or dancing all night, or planning her next trip to the jungle.
